Son Cubano is the musical foundation of Salsa. It is danced on contratiempo timing (“on 2”) and can be mixed with a tiempo timing (“on 1”) to combine with Salsa. Son Cubano is a classy dance by itself, and adds old school tradition to Salsa through transference of frame, repertoire, and timing elements. Taught by New Resident Artists from Guantánamo, Cuba: Adolfo Castillo & Lisbet López. For all levels.
