🥳 ALL WELCOME This is a community social dance event. Admission is $10, and includes the lesson at 8pm and a complimentary beverage.

Tonight we start our newest dance class with Lisbet López, Modern Dance Technique with Afro-Cuban Elements & Live Drumming, offered weekly on Thursdays 7:30-8:30pm. All levels and experiences welcome!
In this class, students learn exercises and elements of Martha Graham’s modern dance technique with contributions from Cuban dance masters, such as Ramiro Guerra and Eduardo Rivero, who have added to modern and classical technique used to train professional dancers of all genres in Cuba, and used by Cuban teachers to train dancers around the world.
INSTRUCTOR: Lisbet López, professional dancer from Guantánamo, Cuba.
Live Drumming by Adolfo Castillo.
LOCATION: Ithaca Movement Arts 119 S. Cayuga Street, Downtown Ithaca
COST: $15 per class, by cash, check, Venmo, or CashApp. Sliding scale discount is available for anyone who needs it. We will not turn anyone away due to lack of funds.

💃🏼 Bachata Lady Styling
3 Week Series, Tuesdays August 6 - August 20 5:15-6:15pm
Cost: $15 per class. Discount: $35 for series
Description. These classes prioritize grace, poise, and personal expression using the dance of Bachata. The emphasis is on developing confidence, flair, and the distinctive, stylized movements that characterize a feminine approach to dance. Men and all genders are welcome.

3 Week Series, Tuesdays August 6 - August 20 6:20-7:20pm
Cost: $15 per class. Discount: $35 for series
